General Rules
  • Open to all dogs from all levels and all heights
  • Teams to consist of 3 dogs made up of dogs made up of ANY combination of heights
  • All teams will be competing against each other in one competition
  • There will be an Agility run and a 3 dog Team Relay
  • The Agility will follow standard Agility rules and be an individual run
  • The Team Relay will follow course UK Agility rules with course design rules of WAO Team Speedstakes. (Each dog will perform 15 to 20 obstacles. An A frame and 12 pole weave must be included. All other equipment is allowed with the exception of Seesaw, Dog Walk and table.)
  • In the Team Relay Toy & Midi dogs will run at Toy height and Standard & Maxi dogs will run at Standard height
  • Handlers may be entered in more than one team
  • Dogs may only compete in one team in any heat
  • Only handlers and dogs originally entered may compete at the Final
  • Reserve handlers and dogs may be nominated at the time of entry. However only 1 dog and/or 1 handler may be used as a reserve in the Final and the makeup of the team must adhere to the combination that qualified


Scoring
  • Standard UK Agility Marking will apply
  • The results from the 3 individual Agility runs and the Team Relay will be combined
  • Faults converted into seconds. 5 faults = 5 seconds
  • Time faults treated the same as course faults
  • An eliminations = 100 faults. If a handler is eliminated they must make a sportsman like attempt to finish the course correctly failure to do so will incur 60 seconds being added to the team time
  • A faulted baton change will incur 10 faults
  • The team with the lowest score will be deemed the winner
  • In the event of a tie the team relay score will decide the winner
  • Any extraordinary circumstances to be ruled by UK Agility


Final Qualification
  • 5 Heats
  • Top 2 teams from each heat qualify for the Final
  • The Final will be held at the UK Agility Grand Finals in December
  • The Final will follow the same format as the heats
